The Catacombs of Paris 

This Parisian ossuary extends over 11,000 m² of underground. It owes its name in reference to the Catacombs of Rome. You access the catacombs from Place Denfert-Rochereau. Six million bones, from different Parisian cemeteries, lie in the labyrinthine galleries, 1.7 kilometers long.

The height under the vaults is 1.80 meters and the ambient temperature is 14 degrees. The visit is not recommended for people with heart or respiratory failure, sensitive people and unaccompanied children. An unusual and fascinating visit!
